Wow, found this post that I started sometime in May but never got around to posting it. So I thought since I haven't posted anything in such a long time and I don't have any personal time on the computer I would post this now.....
Looks like I unfinished it twice actually.....
May 2009
As spring approaches, I like to reflect back about my favorite things about winter, which there is only one. And since now we have a new computer, I think it is time to catch up a little bit.
Jeff and I have a tradition that we go and pick up our tree the Saturday after Thanksgiving. So since the post before last ended with Thanksgiving, I figured Christmas is where to start. Christmas is my only favorite thing about winter. (Other than snow on the mountains from miles and miles away.) And this is our tree 2008 on the night when it was finally put all together.
What an ordeal that was (again this year).

Some of my favorite ornaments.

This is the wreath I made this year, it was actually for me this time. And it took me about 5 years to make. Well, only about 20 minutes to make but about 5 years to find all the pieces. I had an idea (that I got from a flyer at Michaels), and it just took me a while to find the perfect parts. It might not look like much, but I love it. I considered hanging it all year, but Jeff said no way!
This is a water globe, but a really bad picture of it. It lights up and it plays Jingle Bell Rock and it blows the snow around. It has the cutest polar bears sledding and penguins decorating trees.

Owen and Laura came and spent Christmas morning with us. Nothing better for the holidays than family.

Here is just a sample of the treats that I made for our Christmas Dinner.
I have a bunch more pictures but they are never going to make it out here. I will just have to hope for better blogging skills for this holiday season.

Well now that it is so hot outside, I think it would be a good time to get our thoughts back to cold weather, here's a flash back of cold weather that never got finished and published but is going out unfinished. Sorry, hope you enjoy it anyways.
